When Churchill and FDR Spent 1941 Christmas With Each Other - Importance of Civic and Religious

American Spectator has a really nice article on this event. I suspect Churchhill's presence was of a great reassurance to the USA that must have been still stunned by Pearl Harbor.

What I like about this is the focus on the shared Anglican faith of both men and to the detail of how that played out in their public worship together during these three weeks. I also like the Methodist detail and the FDR quote "I like to sing hymns with the Methodys,"

See Christmas with Churchill and FDR
