Is the Louisiana contingency Fee Bill Dangerous?

Hmm I am not so sure. I think the missing piece of information here that is vital is if the State will pay for the cost of litigation. It is an expensive process and can drag on for years. If you lose you are out of money.

So if the trail lawyers are putting up the dough then it seems they should rewarded for the risk. Again I am not sure of the specifics here.

Also I am not sure that if in the end this would not be cheaper for the State.
