Does the LA Times Know They Have Readers of Faith (Protestant and Catholic Examples)

Get Religion has three good post I want to highlight this morning. Two of them I will do here.

In a age where newspapers are suffering one would think papers would attempt to reach out to various markets. Sometimes when I read the LA Times I think their main concern is not offending non religious folks.

Two examples. Here is a "Protestant " one and in fact one that bridges the Christian divide. That is the life and death of UCLA's John Wooden. Get Religion pretty muchLATimes: Wooden was faithful, but to what?

The next is a comparison of the NYT treatment versus the LA TIMES treatment Pope Benedict's recent remarks on the Sexual Abuse crisis. Again the LA TIMES gets a failing grade. See Nothing new under the Vatican sun
