Whenever one reads the great minds at the Times or Newsweek as they give advice to the Pope there is one theme. They seem to think if the Roman Catholic Chruch became just like the Episcopal Church things would be grand!!
The problem is as Red Stick Rant points out that is not working. See Sunday Library.
So basically the Episcopal Chruch USA has followed their advice
Women Priests -Check
Women Bishops-Check
Not getting Hung up on Sex stuff-Check
Gay Unions and Marriage-Check
Promoting the right to a abortion- Check
The TEC is the perfect test tube example. Why does Newsweek and the NYT not put them under the microscope for a change!! I mean if all these suggestions to the Bishops are to be taken seriously then lets see how it is working out.
