Not Everyone On the Right Is A Critic of the New Miss America (That happens to be Muslim)

First let me say I think she is pretty hot. :)

However lets get to the underlying story. IT WAS FIXED!! It's AFFIRMATIVE ACTION!! SHE SUPPORTS TERRORISTS!! That is some and I mean just SOME are saying from the right.

IDIOTS. Most of these are the usual suspects but a couple sadly are not. I can expect Michelle Malkin to do this at times but others are a tad depressing. Of course I am realist about these things. I think at times we on the right (like those on the left) might get fooled by some of our huge blog pundits. They want to make a buck and get publicity so what better way than to make controversy.

Is that not the truth and to be honest both the right and left do it. What started this. I think the Internet did really and the thousands of media choices we have. Instead of informing us ( How many of us had a clue that Thailand was close to a freaking Civil War until just days ago) we all get segregated in ourt little camps. What is news and important is still pretty much determined by the media and yeah perhaps a few leading bloggers on the left and the right that we all parrot.

In the comment section I think we see evidence of this depressing attitude. Muslims come in all flavors. DO people recall that Beirut used to be the Paris of the Middle East? Not all those Arab women at the Beaches in Egypt and Lebanon are Christian or foreign tourist.

OH BUT HER LIFE WILL BE IN DANGER because the radical Muslims will get her. I have my doubts about that. It appears in the native town in Lebanon she is the toast of the town. See Miss USA Rima Fakih 'pride' of hometown in Lebanon‎. WAIT WAIT that does not fit the script!!

Again this should not be shocking but again life is a tad more complex.

What gets under my skin with this is again the RIGHT will be painted by broad blush because of what few people say. I never elected Michelle Malkin or Debbie Schlussel to speak for me. To be fair Malkin issue seems to be not the Muslim thing but because she gave an answer on immigration she did not like. WHO CARES!!! Geez do some folks just go through life just being with people they agree with. Again I suspect that there is a underlying cause of just wanting to raise blog traffic perhaps by stirring stuff up
