That would be a highly insensitive thing to say since the EF-4 tornado that hit Yazoo City and other places in Mississippi came out of Louisiana. In fact, several of the deadliest tornadoes in the history of Mississippi came out of Louisiana. I am thinking the Natchez tornado in 1840 that killed 317, the Apr 24 1908 twister that destroyed Amite LA and then Purvis MS killing 147 and the 1971 F5 that started near Delhi, LA and moved into Mississippi killing 47 people.
He should have chosen his words more wisely, wisecrack or not about the LSU series ....
