Of course there is also Italy. They got forgiven and absolved pretty quick you know.
However what about Finland? It really is a shame that most of us Americans never learn the heroic and fascinating history of Finland during WWII.

I'd say it is the state of the American public educational system that partially to blame for the poor quality of history education among our youth.
