Only 32 Louisiana Catholics Sign Petition Opposing Liturgy Changes

One might recall the WHAT IF WE SAID NO movement by some Catholics that were upset about the new english mass translations. Changes I so much am for by the way.

Well it appears they have changed the name and It is now the What If We Said, 'Wait'? movement. I guess urging Catholics to be in open revolt against the Church , having a temper tantrum, and depriving my rights as a Catholic to a proper liturgy based on their non authority to do so did not go down well. So now it is been tempered down a bit.

Go here to their web site. So far this "grass roots movement" has only collected 9234 signatures. I have gone through them and noticed that only 32 Louisiana folks signed. A brief overview

Diocese of Shreveport 5 (No Priests or Religious just a few lay folks and Lay Ministers
Diocese of Alexandria 1 Response (Only one Priest)
Diocese of Lake Charles 1 ( one lay person signed)
Diocese of Lafayette 8 ( Some Religious, lay folks and Lay ministers)
Diocese of Baton Rouge 5 ( One Priest, A few Sisters ,and a Lay folk )
Archdiocese of New Orleans 12 (A couple Priest, Some Sisters, and Lay folks)
Diocese of Houma Thibodaux (No one signed)

So after all the emailing and knashing of teeth and how NO ONE WILL KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING AT MASS talk this is it. So I think thisis good news. I say full steam ahead on the implentation. Praise God.

By the way my Diocese of Shreveport is having a great workshop on all this on the 16th of January. Info HERE!!!! For those few concerned Diocese of Shreveport Catholics on the list go to it. It is not so scary.
