I agree with this.

I think he makes a good case. Further real AFRICAN Americans are well in many cases different. Both culturally and poiltical wise. For instance the head of the College Republicans at my ole College Louisiana Tech is is from Cameroon. Not saying all Africans Americans are Conservatives , but it is more diverse on the whole in many ways. Which makes a certain amount of sense since the shared experience is about 180 degrees different. So that is just an example of where perhaps the word is misleading and that as useful.

Again it is interesting how words change.
