Obama- If I can't Pass Health Care Reform No One Can!!

Contentions has Obama Breaks the Arrogance Meter.

It says in part:
No other president will attempt it? Ever? Really, you have to marvel at where they come up with this stuff. Obama is apparently the only one, ever, who can pass health-care reform. And his powers, like Cinderella’s, I suppose, evaporate when the clock strikes midnight on December 31. They must do it now.
On one level, it’s jaw-dropping desperation when a White House stoops to making such a nonsensical argument. It suggests that Harry Reid has managed to drive the administration’s top priority into a ditch, and the White House is panicked. The Left is furious, the Senate looks like it’s made up of a bunch of Keystone Kops, and there’s still no bill to vote on. But it’s the arrogance that’s most striking. Of course other presidents will address health care, entitlements, jobs, and the rest. History does not begin or end with Him. But he seems to think it does
.

That is pretty mind blowing. I have always been of the mind that the reason lot of conservatives got behind Romney was they knew he could cut a deal with the democrats on Health Care.

The problem is quite frankly a majority of the population does not like this bill. It is one of the most unpopular pieces of legislation I have seen in a long time. Maybe it is time to start over. I am not sure why the democrats thought they has to go for the entire enchilada they envisioned. That rarely works in politics.

  1. I was watching one of the cable news shows this morning...can't remember which one, but there was a representative from the Dem party who said that it wasn't important what was in the bill now, that they would make changes after it's passed. That's the problem right there, they can make whatever changes they want and we can't do anything about it. It will be done in the dead of night and no one will know about it.

I have no doubt in my mind, that's exactly what they will do with the abortion issue. It won't be 6 months before a new provision will be put in, allowing abortions to be paid by the government policy.

It's all smoke and mirrors, corrupt to the core, just like this administration.

  2. I am afraid you might be right on the abortion issue. IT IS AMAZING HOW POWERFUL PLANNED PARENTHOOD IS.

I mean every poll shows the public not wanting to fund abortions and still they go ahead anyway.
