Whats Up WIth All This Liberal Racism Toward Obama

That was not a typo- Liberal.

I am not sure when exactly this new line of attack started. It had calmed down for a while. People that actually opposed Obama on such matters as Card Check, the Stimulus, and Cap and Trade were doing it because they opposed his ideas not his color. Now it seems since the the Health Care Bill is failing it is time to revert back to this tactic.

Even at lets say at the more Progressive Catholic blog VOX NOVA in the comment sections the IT MUST BE ABOUT RACE meme seems to be taking hold.

Is this not really some form of racism by the left. I have a feeling that Obama realizes that people opposing him on his policies are not racist. In effect isn't it kind of racist to say that if ypu oppose Obama it is because of race and not battling the ideas that Obama is presenting. Isn't that sort of a slam on Obama himself by his friends in a way?

Obama is a serious man and President that has some ideas that would transform this country. The discussion right now is if that transformation is for the good or bad. It just seems you demean the seriousness of his ideas and the debate that President Obama is making us have if you pull out the race card as just another political tool.

Update- I should say I don't think anyone at VOX NOVA in the comment section is really racist. I think they are picking up on the background noise that is being put forth. Still I do think the issue of race comes up in unexpected places
