Evangelicals Like to Re-create New Testament Events

I see this a good bit and in fact as Catholics we have a tradition of this in Passion Plays and goodness the Holy Week liturgy.

Still evangelicals sometimes do this on a vast scale. It appears that Rick Warren is about recreate Pentecost at his Church. Amy looks at this at Perks

However this comment struck me

It's interesting how many evangelicals try to re-create these New Testament events (or Old Testament, for that matter)...what would they do if they properly understood sacramental theology, especially the re-presentation of the Cross that occurs every Eucharist?

Indeed
