Thanks Be To God Former LSU Player Anthony Zehyoue Not TO be Deported

Now if anyone in the United States Govt can tell me why this whole family that is making such a contribution to this nation should not get Citizenship I will be happy. This is insane that such good good people cannot be Citizens!!! THERE IS NO NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS NEXT YEAR

I have had 15 random emails talking about how wonderful this family is and they can't believe they have not been offered U.S. Citizenship!! May I ask that why most of their family that have got their Masters and educating our own kids but can't get stability because of this constant threat of deportation is allowed to stay in this situation. They are from Liberia for Gods sake that has a direct connection to this nation. Thank you for the reprieve. But I hope all good people of good will get this resolved. This is stupid

But thank God for this. I pray we can work to stop this nonsense and get this resolved!!!

Former LSU football player, Anthony Zehyoue, his family and other refugees from Liberia will not be forced to leave the United States for at least another year, U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu said in a news release late Friday.Zehyoue, a member of the 2007 national championship team, and his family escaped the civil war-torn Liberia and settled in the United States, like many Liberian citizens, Landrieu’s release says. In 1991, the United States gave Liberian refugees temporary protective status, but that was set to expire March 31, the release says.President Barack Obama approved an extension to the protective status at the request of Landrieu and six other senators, the release says. The release says the protective status for Liberian refugees has been extended for at least another year.Zehyoue is a student teacher and pursuing a master’s degree in education, the release says.
