Ahh for those from the Diocese of Shreveport Louisiana you recognize who that is!! It is ever lovable Monsignor Earl Provenza!!! doing his thing at the Mardi Gras Parade.
I always enjoy his special midnight Lenten Ash Wednesday Service where they close off the Shreveport River Bridge and the Krewes come to get Ashes. Mardi Gras is then over and Lent begins.
Father Provenza is a Priest at this wonderful and historic Church in Shreveport Louisiana. He recently also had to run the Diocese till we got our new Bishop.
