EWTN Attacked Again

I am catching up on my blog reading and noticed a Theology Prof( sadly at a Catholic University) had a Op Ed attacking EWTN.

One gets a sense this person rarely watches EWTN. I can't add much to Father's comments but let me give a few thoughts.

I must say if these is an "outdated version" of Catholicism then I guess the Pope and Catechism are outdated as well as the Bible. I also second the voice in the reply that we then complaint comes down we hear very precious little examples. Is the Rosary outdated? The Divine Mercy? What exactly is "outdated".

The fact that EWTN is still around and the fact that it is THE WORLDWIDE Catholic channel with a shortwave network to boot just irritates people.
