Another Not So Bold Plan to Save Episcopal Church USA

I flirted with Anglicanism before I became Catholic very briefly.

I guess what I don't understand is this stubborn allegiance to Episcopal Church USA by many Orthodox Episcopalians. I think it is clear that it is about to reach critical mass and Episcopal Church USA is about to cause some massive schism in the world wide Anglican Communion.

I suppose the question is does joe six pack Episcopalian consider himself an American Episcopalian or more importantly ANGLICAN in communion with members of world wide Church in which they consider "Catholic" and Apostolic.

I mean in the big scheme of things is it not more important to be in Communion with the world wide body of believers? Is being in communion with "Primate Katharine Jefferts Schori at 815 Second Avenue, New York City really a priority?

If Orthodox Anglicans do not move now there will be no structures in place for their children to practice and live in a "orthodox" Anglican community here in the United States. Thinking that your child will live in perhaps your currently orthodox parish the rest of their lives is sort of folly.

It seems that every time the "reformers" come to a crucial point where yet another crisis occurs and it is time to act all that results is just another organziation is formed (to combat the problem) that is added to a every confusing list of acroynms that is starting to rival the Pentagon.
