"Non Partisan" Catholic Political Group Goes After Knights of Columbus ( More Hope And Change)

Good Grief. You know the people running the show over at "Catholics United" seem to be clueless. I would suggest going after the Knights of Columbus is really not going to be helpful to their cause.

See Darwin Catholic's post at I Have Had It With "Catholics United"

"Catholic's United" informs that we cannot even comment on WHAT THE CANDIDATES SAY now.

The Knights of Columbus' ad campaign is yet another unfortunate distraction from the serious and urgent issues Americans are facing in this campaign: lack of health care, a crumbling economy, a war that has gone on far too long, and solutions to the tragedy of abortion that offer results instead of rhetoric. By choosing to focus on Senator Biden's own unhelpful comments instead of offering a comprehensive vision of what it means to be pro-life, the Knights are doing a major disservice to the unborn, indeed to all Americans.

Now what is amusing here is that the Knights of Columbus are being lectured by these folks. The Knights took a difficult stand on the issue of Immigration Reform (They supported it) that had some of the membership upset. Who else supported and led the fight for immigration reform? Well John McCain!!! Who helped killed in immigration reform bill at the request of Unions with a Poison pill? Well that was Obama.

Notice that issue is not on their litany of issues and for good reason.

If you not familiar with "Catholics United" that tries to describe itself as non partsian but is really a front job for Obama and the Democrats go see all the links that Pro Eccelsia has done at the bottom of his post "Nonpartisan" Catholics United Attacks the Knights of Columbus

  1. Good point James, for all those social justice "Catholics" who fail to remember that Mac went out on a limb on immigration.

Frankly, it nearly cost him the nomination and the Tancredo wing are still very suspicious of him.

He has said that he would deal with those illegal immigrants fairly and humanely, and as we both know many of them are Mexican & Catholic.
(except for the 2 million felons who have to be apprehended & deported)

I,personally, believe we need to secure the border first but we can't be doctrinaire to the point of losing sight of the big picture, especially with Hispanics being a bigger part of the demographics each year, in terms of the GOP's future success, esp. in the West.
