Sad News For Louisiana-Former State Senator Bares dies after stroke

Ahh I hate to see this.

He was a important Floor Leader and one of the hopeful reformers that were with Governor Buddy Roemer. He used to vacation on the lake near my home during the summer and I would see he and his family at our small Catholic Church . He was defeated by Republican Max Jordan (Mad Max) who was quite a flamboyant and ususal character.

RIP and I hope people keep him in their prayers
