The VP guessing game for the GOP continues. I just saw this at the Boston Globe Romney plans foray into Denver
There is a certain etiquette still to these things.
I think usually out of respect the other ticket does not exactly do a ton of active showing up at events when the convention is going on. There are low key fundraisers etc. Needless to say I doubt if Romney was going to be the VP pick like two days later he would be showing up in Denver on Wednesday.
Just sorta not done
This is a good sign James...God willing we can get still get Palin, but I think it's Pawlenty.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I read his bio, Pawlenty is basically a "do no harm" pick (Nixon's admonition about picking VPs)...also, he is an ex-Catholic???
Carlos,
ReplyDeleteI do think he will be Pawlenty still though Palin is there as a outside pick
Pawlenty is a ex Catholic married a Lutheran which is a tad depressign but he is friendly with Catholics so hopefully that will help
Ted.
ReplyDeleteI will fo check out the discussion at the Palin vp site. I like her a lot however I just fear like Seantor Jindal she just needs a couple of more years. I do think she has the potential of being more exciting than Palwenty who sadly has the reputation of being a tad boring.
So Palin is a risk but it might be one worth taking. If I thought the "experince issue" would not come into play if I could see her more in debates I think I would get on board
