Louisiana Catholic Blog Update For August 2 2008

Because I was one of the many Thousands of blogger users that got shut of of their blogs yesterday, I was not able too do a Louisiana Catholic Blog update on Friday. But we shall catch up today

Ville Platte Catholic Youth Group has Cry on My Shoulder

Unskilled Labor , who is on blogger and must be living right because he did not go down, has a hilarious pic here at The Dirty Harry BBQ Grill . Also see Graph of Doom
This and this cool story here at Amputated Arm Attached Again After Alligator Attack

Moms and Kids At Home has Make some time to take in the sites ;)

From The Recamier has her daily update at Daily Update: August 1, 2008 (She has Saints today)

The Louisiana Brown Pelican Society( lay Louisiana Catholic organization) has a major update as usual

Full Circle has a couple of posts I enjoyed. The first is ironic because I recommended a person at Tigerdroppings email him to ask his views on the good , the bad, the ugly, the great heights , and pitfalls of Homeschooling. Now he has those pose referenced here at Homeschooling posts. Also see this cool post that I will try to highlight later Chesterton Square in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He also has Civil authority interfering in matters relating to religion and Does Pius IX Syllabus of Errors condemn our modern day application of public schools?

ALIVE AND YOUNG has Atheism and this good and fun post When Jesus Knocked.

Thoughts & Ruminations of Father Ryan has some computer related pic here and oh a cute dog

Maudie in Mandeville has Anthrax killer: no 'conservative bent'

Da Mihi Animas our expat Priest in Jersey has a ton of good stuff. See Can you believe this? A Free Catholic School! . A great post here at Saint of the Day: St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori . Also see Mt. Soledad Cross Allowed to Remain! , Winning Hearts in Iraq: The Charity of the US Soldier! , Go Cubs Go!!! 2008 is the year!!! , Blessed August Czartoryski: The Polish Prince , and Troubadour - George Strait

Finally Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message has his daily meditation here at Feast of Saint Alphonsus Liguori (1 August 2008)

Not terribly ironic. :) I noticed that I got a few hits from it and decided to make it easy on people looking for the information.
