Les Miles Proud of His Damn Strong Fine Chicken

LSU Coach Les Miles in case you missed it just held a pretty heated press conference. It appears that he is a tad upset that "Herbie" Kirk Herbstreit has reported on ESPN that Les is some Kentucky Fried, Churches, or even Popeyes Chicken fan or for that matter a fan of the chicken at the Boudreaux's Corner Gas and Go down the corner that sits under the Heat lamp for 8 hours by the great potato sticks and fried okra.. He said this morning:
There was misinformation on ESPN and I think imperative that I straighten it out. I am the head coach at LSU and also a huge Raising Cane's Chicken Fan. It was unfortunate that I had to address my my fellow Louisiana Chicken fans with this information this morning, but that being done I think we'll be ready to win one for Louisiana and fried battered chicken everywhere he said. "I represent me in this issue. Please ask me after. I'm busy. I got to go eat some more DAMN SSTRONG FINE Raising Cane's Chicken!!!
Thank you very much. Have a great day."
"DAMN STRONG" CHICKEN?: LSU coach Les Miles will be pitching chicken fingers for the Raising Cane's restaurant chain that originated in Baton Rouge, Raising Cane's founder and chief executive officer Todd Graves announced Thursday.
"We are proud to have coach Miles endorse Raising Cane's," Graves said in a release. "Les Miles is a great leader and a quality person and has the same values that Raising Cane's is built upon."
Miles agreed to a three-year deal that will include using his image and likeness in radio, newspaper and billboard advertising. His daughter Smacker, 14, will also be used in a spot.
"Raising Cane's is a great, local company with a superior product and great people, so this partnership was a natural fit," Miles said in the release.
Miles continues to reap the benefits of winning the 2007 national championship. He also recently filmed an ESPN television commercial.
