AFAIK (and I hope I'm wrong), our diocese is doing nothing -- and I haven't heard anything about what's happening at the parish level, either. In Quebec, St. Paul seems to be among "les autres" -- i.e., non-French Canadians... Not surprising, though. Local media had little or no coverage of the Eucharistic Congress in Quebec City. A recent concert by hometown boy Leonard Cohen, however, got the front-page treatment. No disrespect to Mr. Cohen -- but entertainment and glitz trumps everything else here. C'est la saison des festivals, voyez-vous.

I am very suprised that local media did not give huge coverage to such a big event in Quebec
