Cimetiere de Sts Pierre et Paul Scott Louisiana

Located in the heart of Scott Louisiana, behind the Catholic church is the very restful St Peter and Paul cemetery. Contained within the fence are very old tombs as well as several modern mausoleum

Lets get the Louisiana Catholic Blog Update Rolling. The latest in Bayou Catholic Blogging Wisdom and life!!!

It appears that a For the Greater Glory is out of blog hibernation!!! So let us put him first so to encourage him!!! Also his stuff is good and his absence has been noted.
First he has a post that in part refers to a post I did the other day. I need to update that entry with a link to this My experience as the "Catholic columnist" for the LSU's Daily Reveille. I think that is a very interesting insight plus he links all his columns!!! Lot there and Intend to read it again after I finish the update.
The Crisis in Louisiana is over. We shall not be all washing away into the Gulf , FOR NOW, go see Time to put away the pirogue He hits on the Vitter situation here at Democrats Bring Tough Ethics to Washington! Some Humor here at Curt Jester? Still pretty funny... . Bella news here at Darn, there goes thirty bucks . Check out Oh wow... on something I touched on this week also. An interesting post here on something I was going to comment on. Since he is has done it I will not. GO see Youth in the Church: Are we "Right?" Finally we have Hello Again which tells us what he been up too. Also there is a pic of the Girl Friend!!!

Moving on!!!

We are Blessed today. Dei Gratia has done a post after a period of silence at Pope to deliver Homily via Satellite TO be fair Dei Gratia does double duty and is very involved in the exciting Louisiana Based New Catholic Media Catholic Underground. That sadly appears not to have had a show this week :( We shall check back tomorrow

Taking back the Sacred has a series of post I am excited about . Go see Summa Theologica: Prima Pars: Question 1: Article 1

Catholic Tube - Catholic Videos and News has Multi-faith Friendships

A Number of Things has We Like Worms. And who doesn't!!! I grew up on this LSU Agricultural Experimental Station. There was a ton of land and places to explore. Often places we should not be like playing on very expensive State equipment. I suppose we are lucky we did not kill ourselves Some of my fun memories involved going worm hunting with the kids that lived on the station. Look you can cut the worm in two and it still lives!!!! Fascinating!!!

From The Recamier has her daily update here at Daily Update: May 8, 2008. We have no Saints today she says so we sadly don't have her interesting input on that. However she gets into a lot of stuff including how Coca Cola went on sale on yesterday date. We are blessed because she also has a Review of a Book I love. Go see It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium I loveeee this book and she gives a nice review
Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message has his daily message today at Feast of Sainrt Peter Tarantaise (8 May 2008). This post is interesting and prepares us for Pentecost this Sunday. It also makes the connection between Mother's day(which we celebrate this Sunday in the USA) and the Feast!!!

Finally The Brown Pelican Society has a ton of links relating to the daily news and Faith from A Catholic Point of view. I will not list all by entry since this post is kinda of long but visit his site!!!

If I missed anyone on the Louisana Catholic blog links I will catch you on the next update which is in about18 hours :)
