Another light day as to Louisiana Catholic Bloggers. Here we go
Apprentice of St. Joseph gives a nice bio of himself at Biography .
Madd Chatter: peaceful intolerance of political irrationality hits the tough illegal immigration issue again at More than one... . I shall make a comment on that post at his blog later when I am in a bit of a better mood today. Nothing with the tenor of his post which is basically just stating some facts but this topic is often a tough one. The whole New Orleans stuff(see entry below) has sort of got me down and I have learned not to be emotional state when engaging on further emotional stuff. I think after a beer I will be fine :) So check in as I give my two cents
Ville Platte Catholic Youth Group has The Inquisition for NBC?. It is a good post and really has a lot of good stuff as to some Catholic History
Catholic Tube has Cardinal Arinze on Abortion
Our Two Priest Bloggers are In DC!!! That is two of the dynamic trio that gives us the Louisiana Catholic Podcast to the World . GO see Catholic Underground and CU Meetup #1 - Murky Coffee, Washington DC! . I will post their whole post:
ATTENTION ALL DC BOUND catholicunderground.com LISTENERS!
Fr. Chris and Josh LeBlanc from catholicunderground.com (with perhaps Fr. Ryan via skype) will be at Murky Coffee from 6pm EST until around 9pm EST in Washington D.C. ready to meet, greet, and otherwise "hang" with all 6 of our listeners who may be in DC for the papal visit.
So, if you're in DC, are jonesing for some (what we hear) is pretty good joe, and want to kill several hours when you could be studying, reading, washing your dog, drinking coffee with more famous and generally higher class people, then please come on by and say hello!
Since Murky doesn't "officially" allow reserved rooms or anything like that, we'll just find a table and set up shop!
Our coordinator and Washington Bureau Chief requests that you send an email to us at RSVP@catholicunderground.com or our Skype number 225 . 910 . 6218 so we'll know about how many are coming. If it gets really big (hah!) we may (laughter) have to think about a (snort) bigger venue!
We hope to see you there!
How Fun. Meanwhile back here in the boring piny woods of North Louisiana I continue on with the update with
