Massive Louisiana Catholic Blogger Update For March 08

We seem to be having a worldwide "blogger" problem somewhat today so we shall see if we can get this Louisiana Catholic Blogger Update out. Every 5 minutes I am getting a
Server Error The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds.
This one will be pretty big update since I was out of town this week. Therefore if I miss someone don't worry I shall update it.That is if I don't tear my hair out with Blogger first.

First a big Congrats to our Louisiana Catholic Missionaries based out of Lafayette Anthony , Holly, and Elijah in Missions. Go by and leave a comment. They have had a Baby in the Missionary field as it were. Go see Elijah is born! , Praise the Lord , and A video for you! Then Louisiana Catholics think about donating to their efforts at the link on their blog. Elijah already is sacrificing for the Church since sadly this new American Citizen because he was born in the Island nation of Grenada cannot run for President under our Constitution. So reward the sacrifice if you can :)

We have a blogger coming back. He really has never left. Because he runs the Louisiana Catholic blog Catholic Tube (see below). I highly suspect his blog is the most popular Louisiana Catholic blog in the world because I am seeing it LINKED ALL OVER THE PLACE. Anyway he is bringing his own personal blog back again. That is Travis Boudreaux. This will be located in the Diocese of Lafayette Catholic blogger link section. His post are
Facebook and Eucharistic Adoration
Switching To a MacBook Pro
and
Catholic Tube In The News

Ville Platte Catholic Youth Group has some good entries up. All Louisiana people with high school kids or Youth Group leaders please please read this post of theirs Camp Joshua Registration Opens. A great Pro-life and Political experience for kids. Also see the entry Those Incorruptible Saints. On a sad note please pray for the blogger of this site as well as beloved his Grandmother whom passed away this past Sunday.

From The Recamier has still been a loyal blogger for all us little people despite being busy mingling with the Rich and Famous at the Monte Carlo of the South where she works. She has her latest update here at Daily Update: March 7, 2008. She reminds us that yesterday was a no meat day. I FORGOT I should have read her blog first. It was just so cold and I thought Taco soup sounds good for a day like this and I pretty much forgot it was Friday!!! Uggh. She has a nice thing on Saints Perpetua and Felicity, Martyrs (died 203). Oh and yesterday she tell us that this date in history, in 321 the Roman Emperor Constantine I decreed that Sunday (dies Solis) would be observed as the Roman day of rest. Lots more interesting stuff as usual on her blog. We have a lot of home school folks that blog here in Louisiana. I think if you wish to have a lazy "teaching day" just go to her entry print it out and tell the kids to go look all that facisnating stuff up in Enclyopeida. Violia it is done

The Louisiana Brown Pelican Society has a ton of Catholic news we all need to know. This post is becoming pretty big so I will not post the usual 6 or 7 post he does a day. As always a good place to start your day
