Players from the Poughkeepsie, N.Y., school attended Easter morning services at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, not far from the LSU campus.
The players received a round of applause when recognized near the end of the mass. Afterward, Marist center Meg Dahlman said she got a different reception.
This kid came up and called us ‘Tiger bait,’” Dahlman said with an incredulous smile on her face, “right after church.”
