Louisiana Catholic Blogger Update for Jan 8th

Ok the LSU game is over and the holidays are over. So time to get back to some regular posting habits. Including the Daily Louisiana Catholic blogger Update. Here we GEAUX

Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message has his daily message up at Feast of Saint Jerome Emiliani (8 January 2008). There is a very interesting nugget regarding Catholic History, New Orleans, the War of 1812 and Genreral Jackson in his post

For The Greater Glory has a wonderful post on what LSU victory means for him as a LSU Senior. He also has a recap of his coverage. Plus some cool pics too on his site.

This post is a couple of days old but since I suspended the Louisiana update for the holidays it does matter. Go see Dei Gratia and his post Listen to me Live! He is going to have his own show on Ava Maria Radio. Which can be heard in many places in Louisiana as well as on the net. How exciting. In case your wondering no one has offered Opinionated Catholic a Radio show yet :)

Arrival : The Parousian Weblog has a wonderful post here at Blaise Pascal: Insight into Faith (Post I)

Full Circle has a great great entry here at Why is the Catholic Church obsessed with sex?

Alive and Young has a wonderful post of course here at LSU WINS! . I so loved this post he did a few days ago Ask de Cajun Chef: de Trinity Oh and see How do you handle a microphone that is acting up?

From The Recamier has her wonderful daily update here at Daily Update: January 7, 2008. She starts out with info for the Saints of the day and is pleased that God's team won too :) As usual she also picks out someone who died on this date and talks about them. Today a very interesting post on Nikola Tesla

Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan has a very interesting entry with a picture that shows Contradictions under his Jan 7th entry.

Cajun Cottage Under the Oaks has some wonderful posts up. Go see Let Us Eat Cake!, Picture of Mary, and especially The Sky is Raining...Books! where you can win free books!!

As a person that is adopted I love her post here at Give a Special Cake to an Adoptive Mommy.

Footprints on the Fridge has a post here at Living Lives of Loveliness in 2008. Check out her post and get involved or volunteer to post one of the virtual fairs

A Number of Things Has a nice post giving a update on her life at So Much Going On

I am having to leave to go home(will resume blogging tonight some) so I don't have time to post the individual daily threads of the must read Brown Pelican Society. He is hitting links that talk about the faith including some things in the political realm as he does. It is always a good read and I shall be commenting on one post about Pope Benedict he has. Hopefully tonight. However as usual he has a ton of stuff so check it out
