I Have Found a Kindred Spirit in Blog Land

I am adding The Florida Masochist to my blogroll. I like his description of his blog:
Commentary, sarcasm and snide remarks from a Florida resident of over thirty years. Being a glutton for punishment is a requirement for residency here. I'm truly a Masochist for I've been called a Right Wing nut job at Daily Kos and a Moonbat by Michelle Malkin. See everyone likes to beat up on me and I love it.

Well I am not from Florida but being a glutton for punishment is one of the requirements for living in Louisiana. Love her but it aint easy. Also The commenter's at both Daily Kos and Michelle Malkin don't like me much either :). I know some people love Michelle Malkin but I am not a huge fan. Sorry!!! Even though she does good work on occasion I just think it would be better if she quit throwing meat to the wolves and telling her "fans" what they just wanted to hear . Plus when she is on TV she has a habit of just interrupting and talking over those she disagrees with. TURNOFF. I did love though how the Senator from Georgia defended her on the Chris Matthews show a couple years back. That was classic.
But that is me and most people think she is the bee's knees.

I like his link list too and many are links I check daily(I do did to get some of those up here- ahh the glories of A.D.D).

  1. James,

Thanks for the compliment. I'm going to update my blogroll in the next few days and add you.(And delete or fix some other links)

I'm Catholic too, married to a Filipina for 18 years, we have two children but they're angels in heaven.(A miscarriage and a son named Daniel born at 28 weeks 5 days who died 14.5 hours after birth)In addition I'm a Malignant melanoma survivor, self employed bookkeeper/computer fix-it man, and a writer of sci-fi/fantasy webfiction.

TFM is home to the Knucklehead of the Day award. I'm a registered Democrat, but moderate conservate ideological wise. I give out my Knucklehead awards to Democrats and Republicans in almost equal numbers.(Governor Knuckleheads I think it stands 8 to 7 favoring Dems at the moment.)

I'm ex-Navy, been to all 50 states and around 15 countries. Been to alot of Asia, and some Europe. Spent 2.5 weeks being shown Poland in 2000. A polish priest served as a guide for the wife and I.

Michelle Malkin was the first blog I visited regularly and through reading that encouraged me to start blogging myself. I'm like you, Michelle is a little too far out for my tastes. James Joyner at Outside the Beltway is my favorite. Take that with a grain of salt if you, I write at his sports blog and James has been very kind to me also.

    Nice meeting you.

    Bill
