A look at Links and Posts Regarding the Latin Mass and the First Day of the Summorum Pontificum

Yesterday was a Historic day in the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church. On Sept 14th the provisions of Pope's Benedict's Summorum Pontificum, were started. This I think shall have consequences far beyond the Latin Rite. Here are some links I found this morning.

First one really needs to start at The New Liturgical Movement(UK Site). This has a ton of post an a lot of great pictures. Here are their great links and posts:

Sept 14th at Assumption Grotto (lots of Great pics from Detroit Michigan).

International Institute for Culture Presents "Latin for Traditional Mass-Goers" (This is a event that is going to be held in Philadelphia.

Mosebach and Lang in New York (This is a pretty fascinating post. Two of the biggest German Papers in the World reported on this Service in New York)

Summorum Pontificum Roundtable (This is a audio link toa EWTN program)

Usus Antiquior in Vienna (beautiful pics)

Whispers in the Loggia had a post yesterday that is woth checking out at Triumph of the "Extraordinary".

Rise and Pray (UK) has a post with a vid end of motu-mania day . I really suggest looking at his post Semper Reformanda? I am not endorsing all his suggestions as to the regular form of the mass in that they should be the law. I think some of this might happen in a very organic natural way. Still worth reading. Check out his post discernment for traditional-leaning young men

  1. The New Liturgical Movement is actually hosted within Canada -- though it has contributors from England, the USA, and other parts of the world as well.
