A Reminder That is Tough to Be Catholic In Parts of the World

There has been a lot of news lately about the plight of Catholics in Iraq. I think we need to continue to highlight that. I support the current surge efforts. However it aggravates me to no end that our troops are not doing more to protect this ancient and imortant part of the Catholic Church.

However it is not only in Islamic Countries or Communist countries where Catholics have a hard time. Parts of India are just as bad. Often I see bloggers put up pictures of extreme "moslems" doing something idiotic . Usually involving some protest or march. Sometimes , unknown to the person putting up the pic, the picture is really of extreme Hindus!!!
