  1. I just attended a Proud2BCatholic event in Framingham, MA which featured many of the same people you mention plus Matt Maher, Ben Walther and Martin Doman. P2BC originated in this area and has been a summertime fixture for I think about 7 years at least. It is a wonderful day for young people and for families too. Besides wonderful Spirit-filled music, there is Eucharistic adoration, the sacrament of reconciliation and mass. P2BC for next year has been tagged by the Archdiocese of Boston as the "official youth event" for 2008. An exciting endorsement!

I publish a magazine about Catholic music called GrapeVine and also produce a weekly podcast. Episodes 51-53 interview artists from P2BC and Episode 54 will cover the actual day (there will be 1 or 2 additional podcasts with interviews from Jesse Romero and Martin Doman).

Visit www.gvonline.net and click on the GrapeVine Podcast button to get to the podcast page - there are show notes there with links to sites, plus a player for easy listening. Then you can get an idea of just how wonderful P2BC is. I also did a podcast last year about it - that's Episode #7 - if you look in the August 2006 archive link on the page, you can find it. Or just type in Proud2BCatholic in the search field on the page to find it.

Enjoy - it's a great festival. And you'll be mesmerized by Tony Melendez. You forget very quickly that he has no arms.
