Louisiana Tech Roundup in Sports for August 7
First I want to promote this link. I might do another promotion of it later in a seperate post. That is the ESPN radio station out of Ruston Louisiana 97.7. There are a couple of reason for this. First because of where they are located their Louisiana news coverage is not as limited as other places. They cover LSU real well of of course. But they also cover Louisiana Tech(because they are in Ruston) ULM out of Monroe, and Grambling also. I think that is nice. IF you are in Baton Rouge it is LSU 24/7. If you are in Lafayette it is ULL. This station cover LSU as well as the North Louisiana Universities fairly well. Their high School Football coverage is pretty good too. Now the show to listen too to take advantage of this is Fox and Company that is broadcast form 3pm to 6 pm Monday through Friday. You can listen to it live via the net on that page. I just wanted to make sure especially that Louisiana Tech Fans that might wander here but live out of state know about it.
On to the Tech News
First a little Basketball News. The Louisiana Tech Basketball team is looking hot for these year. Full Circle a couple of days ago gave this out of state link that is news of a great player that chose Tech over Rutgers. Nice
The Louisiana Tech Sports Site gives us some quotes from Dooley on how the second day of practice went.
The News Star World has a good story about how Louisiana Tech is about to get some unexpected help in the Kicking department. For those that play Ruston High in High School Ball you might want to take a look at this.
An interesting story from the Hawaii Paper. Louisiana Tech is cited as one of the games that the Warriors better watch out for.
Here are some pics of the New Lockerroom. Nice. I am going to do a post soon urging Tech Fans to get behind the needed work at the baseball stadium too. Especially since we are going to be hosting the WAC Tourey
I havee not fortgotten the Lady Techsters. We are coming back after last years painful season. Here is a good Q and a with our new player that is coming from the State of Texas.
