Louisiana Catholic blog Roundup for August 3rd

This is what the Louisiana Catholic blogs have been saying since I posted yesterday.

Catholic Tube
has what sounds to be a incredible video. I am on a computer that for some reason is having trouble loading the vid so I have not seen it yet. But here is the link and description:A protestant walks into a Catholic Mass and starts spuing AntiCatholic rhetoric while mass is going on. Please pray for this man. I am sure he somehow believes he is doing “God’s Work” by opposing the church he established.

He also has the entire 7 video collection in one place of the PC vs. Mac parody in which NFP goes up against Contraception.

From The Recamier has the a brief rundown of the the two Saints we celebrated yesterday as well as the all the neat history facts of the day.

The Brown Pelican Society as usual has links to Catholic News and other topics we should know about.

Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message talks about yestersday Saint ,Peter Julian Eymard , and talks about the tragic bridge accident here in the US and links it to a meditation on our faith.

Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan also talks about the St. Paul-Minneapolis tragedy as well as gives us a link to the Catholic response.

Astonished, Yet at Home! had a furry of post yesterday after I linked to him. Here are just a few. He goes into Pope Benedicts thoughts for World Youth Day in Australia next year. He has a post on a Catholic's poet experience of of Hiroshima. He also has a interesting piece that links to a evangelicals that disputes a lot of this Last Days Dipsensational Theology.

Cajun Cottage Under the Oaks the Catholic Home Schooler has a post on 4th Grade history book that you might consider.

Last but Not least is Deo Gratia. He is continuing to go through Canon Law as it relates to us Lay folks. He also has some thoughts on homosexuality and hetrosexuality.
