A Look At The Louisiana Catholic Blogs

From The Recamier yesterday had again a very interesting post. The Reclaimer talks about yesterdays Saint which was Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori, Bishop and Doctor.

Dei Gratia is continuing to put up important parts of canon law up on his site and these deals with the obligation of Catholic families.

The Brown Pelican as always has a ton of important of Catholic news.

Astonished, Yet at Home! , even though not "offically launched" has some post up today. I think this will be a real fun blog to watch. There is a particular interest that the blogger has that I am developing a interest in. He has a few post so be sure to check it out. One post from yesterday caught my attention. It is entitled "Should Catholics Question their Ties to the Religious Right?". I will probally interact with that post tomorrow. There is a term though that he uses is that piece that I am going to be doing a post on today. That is the heresy of Americanism. AMericanism is a real heresy and we see that word being used a lot lately. I shall try to give my understanding of it

Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan has a quote from Pope Benedict as to St Basil the great as well a link to the Pope's talk on him this past Wednesday.

Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message also take a insightful look at the Feast of Saint Alphonsus Liguori we celebrated yesterday.

If you know of a Catholic Louisiana blogger that touches on the faith let me know.
