Southern Slave Owners and the Bush Tax Cuts?

Hmm. I think this is called reaching!!

Now I suppose there is no doubt that some non slave holding folks wanted to be become slave holders. However as usual there are a lot more factors at play. For instance there were vast parts of the South where there was little slavery because partly it could not take economic root there because of the terrain.

If one is generally interested in why some Southerners supported Slavery in those regions AT TIMES then see "I must look to my own interest" by Elektratig . We see issues of class, social standing, race, fear , are involved. Also as you can see there is a economic argument that in this case a Georgia Governor uses but not one the Washington Post is thinking about. There were other arguments as well.

Slavery has little to do with Bush tax cuts.
