Where is This Plot Get Huckabee Coming From?

I think The Pink Flamingo has a must read on this at her post The Conservative Walk, Talk, & Fix - Who Is Calling the Shots? . By the way this coming from a person that I beleive is not endorsing Huckabee as her first choice. She in the past is very much a Rudy person. However The Pink Flamingo is very good at seeing trends and sensing what really is going on.

I wish to point out this part:
Captain Ed has an interesting take on the constant need to destroy anyone who isn’t “conservative” as the front runner. He is blaming it on center right Republicans, and that is where he’s getting it wrong. ......Captain Ed is referencing a Tony Blankley WTimes (owned by Sun Myung Moon and edited by the white supremacist de jour) piece. The problem here, and Blankley is repeating the conservative attack on Huckabee, is Blankley is part of the “established” far right, WTimes, Moonie party line that has nothing to do with GOP and everything to do with manipulating conservatives for their own end. Powerline is continuing the status quo talking points conservative hit on Mike Huckabee. I do not like Huck’s foreign policy status. But I think conservatives who demand RELIGIOUS PURITY who are not taking a man out because he is giving them exactly what they demand are absolutely disgusting.

Now as usual THe Pink Flamingo is talking in a very blunt and refreshing style. However she has a point. This is not the so called "Center Right" that is doing the attacking.

Goodness just go over to The Corner. They are still obsessed by Huck with most posts in the negative. Why is that? An exception is one post by Bryon York that seems the only one curious of why the Club For Growth has it out for Huckabee. He writes today:
More on Huckabee and the Club [Byron York]
Last week, I
mentioned Arkansas businessman Jackson "Steve" Stephens' funding of the August Club for Growth ad attacking Mike Huckabee. The Club, or more accurately, Club for Growth.net, put out another anti-Huckabee ad early this month, and now, disclosure forms posted yesterday by the IRS show that Club for Growth.net received a $100,000 contribution on November 16 from John W. Childs, a Boston financier who has contributed to the Romney campaign. (Childs is a prolific contributor, giving to Republican committees, congressional candidates, and the early campaigns of George Allen and Bill Frist.)

Hurrah!!!!! That should be a big focus over there. Huckabee supports a gas tax for raods and supports a Nursing Home tax(, just like Romney) to keep the old folks alive and now he is some big liberal!!! Pleaseeee

Anyway I recommend THe Pink Flamingo's post.
