Well Those Anti -Catholic Ads In North Louisiana Worked Out Well

First what a LSU game. GEAUX TIGERS. Also Congrats to Louisiana Tech on giving Boise one heck of a game. I shall do a few post tonight including a overview of the election results. I have been looking over them a good bit of the day. However a comment.

For four years North Louisiana voters have had to sit by and listen in the local and national media that we are a bunch of racist bigoted redneck yahoos. Largely from people that don’t understand the North Louisiana vote. Bobby Jindal that ran for his first elected office five years ago On top of that it was a STATE WIDE office.Five years ago he started out at two percent and procceded to finish quite well in North Louisiana in his last race. He was a running against a woman(The now Gov Blanco) that spent eight years in North Louisiana meeting people and saying you are important and I want your vote.

Bobby knew if he got up here and asked people for their vote and met them they would reward him. He did that. The numbers from North Louisiana are truly amazing. Mike Foster as Governor visited Shreveport Louisiana eight times in his eight years as Governor. Bobby Jindal visited it 76 times in the last 4 years. He was rewarded for that. Other Democrat leaders learned that too. Mitch Landrieu , who was voted back in as LT Gov , too care of business up here and got votes

Lastly. If you are an active democrat or a member of the Democrat Central committee you need to this now. At the next meeting fire the people that ran the anti Catholic ads up here. Also spend some money to make a public apology.

As a Roman Catholic I was horrified by those ads. My protestant neighbors were very horrified by them too. The national media subplot to that story was well it was bigoted North Louisiana. How does that help economic development? The fact is the state democrat party leadership in Baton Rouge believed the media spin we were a bunch of yahoos. Further that this was done while the Diocese of Shreveport was without a Bishop and could not respond is pretty evident too.

Again run an Statewide Television ad saying you are sorry you had no problem running an ad campaign that put your Louisiana citizens in a negative light nationwide. There should be a major act of public contrition here.

Yeah, good luck with that. Remember ... we're talking about Democrats. Being a Democrat means never having to say "I'm sorry."
