There's a growing controversy about John McCain's continuous telling of the 'drunk Irish' joke that is a throwback to the anti-Irish Catholic sentiments of old.
Seamus Boyle, national president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the largest Irish-Catholic organization in the USA, demanded an apology from Senator McCain this week for his 'drunk Irish' joke.
